Where is my data stored?
Locally on your Android device. Your financial data never leaves your device unless you create a backup file to store elsewhere.
How do I backup my data?
Use the in-app Backup feature to create a backup file. You can save it to your device storage or move it to your preferred cloud storage service (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
How do I move my data to a new device?
Create a backup on your old device, transfer the backup file to your new device (via email, cloud storage, or USB transfer), then use the Restore feature in the app.
Troubleshooting
If something isn’t working as expected:
- Ensure your device is running a recent version of Android (8.0 or later recommended).
- Check that you have sufficient storage space available on your device.
- Force-stop and reopen the app from your device's app settings.
- Clear the app cache if issues persist (Settings > Apps > EP Finance > Storage > Clear Cache).
- Restart your device if problems continue.
